You will be introduced to the concepts and applications of flat, relational, hierarchical, and networked databases. You will design, construct and modify a database and generate reports -- using popular tools -- to extract relevant information from local and remote databases. You will examine the problems concerning multi-user databases will also be examined. By the end of the course, you will use proper design techniques to create databases that are fast, easy to use and maintain.
